Online Community Mental Health First Aid Course

Refund with 30 days business days notice

You can change dates into a future online course with no charge if you give me at least 7 business days notice or more before the course. Provided there is a future online course. If there is no future online courses you cannot change into other courses or get a refund.

If you give 4-6 days working days notice before the course you can change into a future course date for a charge of $150 + GST.

If you give 1-3 working days notice before the course you cannnot  change into a future date.

Standar Mental Health First Aid Course (2-days)

If you give 14 days business days notice or more there is no  charge to change dates.

12 to 13 business days there is a $180 fee to change dates per person.

7 to 11 business days there is a $380 charge to change dates.

6 business date changes are not possible.

You can only change dates once.

Youth MHFA Course and the 4-5 hour courses (e.g. Refersher or MHFA for the Suicidal Person)

If you give 14 days notice or more there is no  charge to change dates.

12 to 13 business days there is a $100 fee to change dates per person.

7 to 12 business days there is a $180 charge to change dates.

6 business date changes are not possible

You can only change dates once.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation must be given in writing via email.

If you cancel and provide:

  • 30 days’ notice or more via email you can receive a full refund.

If the course is cancelled by the trainer transfer to a future course date will be granted.

If you change dates giving less than 14 days notice and then change into another date and the instructor cancels that course that you changed into you cannot get a refund. You can change into another course date.

Code of Conduct

Participants in this course are expected to:

Adhere to the safety of yourself and other people during the course.

Adhere to anti-discrimination and all other policies.

Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of students and staff.

Respect the training venue and surrounds, and not damage any equipment.

Keep the venue clean and tidy.

Notify the trainer immediately via text message if you cannot attend training or if you are running late.

Take responsibility for self-care. If you feel distressed during the training, please let the trainer know.

Access and Equity Policy 

All venues are wheelchair accessible. If you have learning support, mobility or other access needs please let the trainer know. We will endeavour to make reasonable adjustments.

Anti-Discrimination Policy 

Discrimination of any form will not be tolerated and you can be asked to leave the course with no refund if you are found to be discriminating against anyone based on  race, religion, sexuality, marital status, disability, gender, breastfeeding, pregnancy or mental illness. This decision will be made at the trainer’s discretion.
